Privacy Policy

BreakerBox (breakerbox.ai) is run by Wagemann Consulting LLC. This page explains what information we collect when you use it, why we collect it, and who else touches it. The short version: we collect what's needed to run the service, we don't run ads or analytics trackers, and we never sell your data.

What we collect

• Account info — your email address and name, provided when you sign up. Sign-in is handled by Clerk (our authentication provider); we don't see or store passwords.
• The data you enter — buildings, panels, breaker labels, rooms, and members you add. That's the product; it's stored in our database so you can get it back.
• Billing info — if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment is handled by Stripe. We never see or store card numbers; we keep only your Stripe customer ID and which plan you're on.
• Server logs — standard technical logs (IP address, request path, timestamp) kept briefly for debugging and abuse prevention.

What we don't do

• No advertising, and no ad networks.
• No analytics trackers or third-party tracking cookies.
• We don't sell, rent, or share your data with anyone for marketing.

Cookies

The only cookies are the session cookies Clerk sets to keep you signed in. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Who we share data with

Only the service providers needed to operate BreakerBox: Clerk (sign-in and account management), Stripe (payments and invoices), and our hosting provider, where the application and database run. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. If you sign in with Google, Google's own privacy policy governs that sign-in.

Sharing inside the app

If you're added to a team (Crew plan) or a building is shared with you, the other members of that team see the buildings and panels in it — that's what sharing is for. Your email address is visible to teammates who added you or share a team with you.

Data retention and deletion

Your data is kept as long as your account exists. To delete your account and all of its data, email scott@wagconsult.com and we'll remove it. You can export your data at any time from the app (☰ → DATA).

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
